Filariasis is a disease caused by filarial worms that attack the lymph channels and is transmitted through the bite of the Mansonia, Anopheles, Culex, Armigeres mosquitoes. This study aims to analyze the relationship between environmental conditions and community behavior with the incidence of filariasis and to do a spatial mapping related to the distribution of filariasis cases in Banyuasin Regency. This research is an observational analytic study with a case control design to analyze the relationship between environmental conditions and community behavior with the incidence of filariasis, while descriptive spatial analysis is carried out for distribution. The number of samples in this study were 45 of 15 cases and 30 controls and data sampling was the coordinate point using GPS at the research location . Data analysis was performed univariate and bivariate with the chi-square test, while spatially using the QGIS. The results of the spatial analysis show that the sembawa sub-district has a moderate susceptibility to filariasis, and the talang kelapa and suak tapeh sub districts have a low susceptibility to filariasis. The bivariate results of standing water p-value = 1000, cattle sheds p-value = 0.375, SPAL condition p-value = 0.458, use of mosquito nets p-value = 0.036, leaving the house p-value = 0.008 . It was concluded that Sembawa sub-district had moderate vulnerability and Talang Kelapa and Suak Tapeh sub-districts had low susceptibility to filariasis. And there is a relationship between the habit of using mosquito nets and the habit of going out at night with the incidence of filariasis and there is no relationship between standing water, cattle pens and SPAL conditions with the incidence of filariasis in Banyuasin District. Suggestions to the public not to move outside the house at night if they have no interest and use mosquito nets while sleeping. And maintain the cleanliness of the environment around the house and improve the condition of SPAL so that it does not become a breeding ground for mosquitoes.
