The objective of the study was to determine the effect of adding fermented rice bran with Tape yeast in the diets on the performance Arab chicken (Brakel krielSilver). The research was carried in BPTU Sembawa, KM 29, South Sumatera, started ffom December 2004 until January 2005. The experiment was arranged in Completely Randomized Design with five treatments and four replications. Fermented rice bran were added to diets with different level as treatment. The treatment were 0%; 7,5%; 15%; 22,5%; 30% respectively. Parameters observed were feed intake, egg weight, feed conversion, body weight gain, and egg production. The result showed that all treatment give insigniflcant effect on feed intake, egg weight, feed conversion, body weight gain, and egg production. Nevertheless, adding fermented rice bran in the diets up to 30% could reduce production cost.
