ANALISIS PEMBERDAYAAN KELUARGA DALAM UPAYA PENJARINGAN SUSPEK TB PARU DI WILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS MEGANG KOTA LUBUKLINGGAU
The family is the smallest unit of society that is very important to be empowered to be able to know, recognize, and report to health workers so that they can assist efforts to screen TB suspects in breaking the chain of transmission in their area. This study aims to analysis of family empowerment in effort to screen pulmonary TB suspects in the work area of the Megang Health Center Lubuklinggau City. This research is a descriptive study that uses a qualitative approach with in-depth interview techniques, document review, and observation. The results of the study found that family empowerment in the effort to screen for pulmonary TB suspects was not optimal. Five of the six variables studied had obstacles. These variables are family empowerment factors which are found to be lacking in awareness of family members, attitudes or perceptions that are lacking about pulmonary TB, health workers work more in services, the active participation factor of family members is still lacking because they often assume the symptoms they experience are like coughing the common cold. , the knowledge factor of pulmonary TB in family members is still lacking regarding the mode of transmission of pulmonary TB, the self-efficacy factor is still low because there are still attitudes or perceptions about pulmonary TB disease, namely non-communicable diseases, disgrace, curses, flying poisons and embarrassing diseases, as well as health factors. literacy, there are obstacles to limited funds so that TB officers focus more on health literacy efforts on TB sufferers. The conclusion of the study is that family empowerment in efforts to screen TB suspects in the Megang Health Center has not been maximized because there are still several obstacles in its implementation. Suggestions in this study is that there must be funds for pulmonary TB prevention, one of which is screening for pulmonary TB suspects (household contact checks). Optimizing health promotion efforts through guidance and counseling in increasing curiosity about pulmonary TB in family members from the lower middle class.
