Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) was a set of equipment specifically designed as a barrier to protect workers against potential hazards in the workplace including office boy workers in hospitals at risk of spreading COVID-19 disease during the COVID-19 pandemic. This study aimed to analyze the Behavior of the Use of PPE in Office Boy (OB) Workers in the Efforts to Prevent the Transmission of COVID 19 at Lahat Hospital. This study was analytical descriptive using a cross sectional design. The sample of this study was 76 respondents. The data were analyzed using the Chi-Square statistical test. The results showed that the variables related to the behavior of using PPE in office boy workers in an effort to prevent COVID-19 at Lahat Hospital were the knowledge (p-value = 0.006), attitudes (p-value = 0,013), work supervision (p-value = 0.048), , training (p-value = 0.020), availability of PPE (p-value = 0.005), and comfort (p-value = 0.013). The recommendations to improve the behavior of using PPE in OB were by maximizing education or socialization to Office Boy workers regarding PPE and training in the use of PPE properly and correctly.
