LEVEL PENGGUNAAN CANGKANG KEPITING TERHIDROLISA DALAM RANSUM TERHADAP PRODUKSI, POTONGAN KOMERSIAL KARKAS DAN LEMAK ABDOMEN AYAM BROILER
The Objective of the study was to investigate the effect of hydrolated crab husk in the production, commercial cutting carcass and abdomen fat of broiler chick. The research was conducted in June untill August 2004 on Jl. Jenderal Sudirman at Cambai Village , Prabumulih, South Sumatera. A completely randomized design with four treatments and five replications was used in this research. The parameters observed were the crosscut weight, carcass percentage, commercial cutting carcases persentage , (chest, wing and thigh) and fat abdomen percentage. The results showed that the treatmants highly significant crosscut weight. The carcases percentage and the commercial cutting carcases percentage was not significant effects by the treatments. The abdomen fat was not found in the chick. 6 % TCKT could reduce the production, commercial cutting carcases and fat abdomen of broiler chick.
