PERILAKU PENERAPAN PROTOKOL KESEHATAN 3M( MEMAKAI MASKER, MENCUCI TANGAN MENGGUNAKAN SABUN, MENJAGA JARAK) PADA REMAJA DI MASA PANDEMI COVID-19 KOTA PALEMBANG
Teenagers have different behaviors in dealing with the Covid-19 pandemic, according to the nature of teenagers who have great desires, like adventure, challenges and tend to dare to take risks without careful consideration, so that during the COVID-19 pandemic many teenagers did not comply with the application of health protocols. Covid-19. This study aims to describe the behavior of implementing the 3M health protocol in adolescents during the Covid-19 pandemic in Palembang City. Adolescent behavior was studied based on internal factors of gender, knowledge and attitudes and external factors the influence of parents, social media and peers. This study uses qualitative research methods and descriptive research design involving 17 informants. The results showed that there were differences in behavior from gender, female adolescents were more obedient in using masks and maintaining distance than male adolescents. Adolescents' knowledge is quite good regarding health protocols, symptoms, impacts, modes of transmission of covid-19. The attitude of adolescents in implementing the 3M health protocol shows a positive attitude. The external factors of parents do not fully influence the behavior of adolescents in implementing the 3M health protocol. Peer factors and social media have a big influence in implementing the 3M health protocol. The behavior of implementing the 3M health protocol in adolescents during the covid-pandemic has differences between women and men, this behavior is influenced by knowledge and attitudes but a positive attitude does not necessarily produce positive behavior as well because adolescent behavior is strongly influenced by their environment, namely peers and the media. social. The research suggestion is for teenagers to be able to use social media such as Tiktok and Instagram to create interesting content containing health information so that they can influence other teenagers to realize the importance of implementing health protocols.
