PEMETAAN SUHU PERMUKAAN LAUT PERAIRAN TELUK LAMPUNG PROVINSI LAMPUNG MENGGUNAKAN CITRA SATELIT LANDSAT 8
Sea Surface Temperature (SST) is an important factor for life in the oceans because temperature affects the activities of organisms in it. As time goes by, the SST conditions certainly experience changes, therefore it is necessary to update the situation using remote sensing technology. The purpose of this study is to map the distribution of sea surface temperature in the waters of Lampung Bay using Landsat 8 imagery data. This research was carried out in January - February 2021 covering 9 station points with the Cahyono algorithm (2017) and the Syariz algorithm (2015). The results showed that the Cahyono algorithm (2017) was better with the R² value obtained from the regression between image data and in situ data of 0.7205. SST map is made using equation model y = -0.2735x3 + 27.508x2 - 921.69x + 10317 to analyze the distribution of the Year SST 2016, 2018, 2020, and 2021. Overall, the SPL value was obtained in the range of 28.8 – 29.4°C, temperature the more increase towards the mainland and lower towards the high seas due to the nature of water that is easy to absorb heat and difficult to release heat Keywords: Sea Surface Temperature, Landsat 8, Lampung Bay
