ANALISIS FAKTOR RISIKO KEJADIAN PENYAKIT KUTU AIR (TINEA PEDIS) PADA PETANI SAWAH DI DESA PEMATANG PALAS KECAMATAN BANYUASIN I KABUPATEN BANYUASIN
The most common dermatophytosis in the world is the water lice`s (Tinea pedis). Tinea pedis is a skin disease with a prevalence of about 10%-15% of the world's population. The prevalence of Tinea pedis can increase in someone with a dirty, wet and humid working environment such as a rice farmer. The purpose of this study was to analysis of risk factors the occurrence on Lowland Farmers. This research was a type of quantitative research and uses a Cross Sectional study design with a sample of 62 people. The sample technique was purposive sampling. Data analysis using Chi-square test. Data were collected by distributing questionnaires, interview and direct observation. The results showed of that there were 40 (64.5%) lowland farmers who had water fleas (Tinea pedis). Bivariate analysis showed that there was a significant accociation between the habit of wearing footwear (p-value 0.030 > alpha 0.05), washing and cleaning the feet (p-value 0.012 > alpha 0.05), drying the feet (p-value 0.023 > alpha 0, 05), bathing habits (p-value 0.020 > alpha 0.05) and length of work (p-value 0.039 > alpha 0.05). The researcher's advice for lowland farmers is to pay more attention to personal hygiene practices such as the habit of footwear used, immediately washing and cleaning the feet, drying the feet properly to keep the feet from getting wet and moist and taking good bathing habits. Farmers are advised not to work for >6 hours to avoid the length of time farmers' feet are in direct contact with pesticides, and the environment is dirty
