This purpose of this reseacrh was to know how the Communication Strategy of Regional Disaster Management Agencies in Flood Disaster Management and to find out the obstacles that arise when the communication strategic process occurs. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative, research data is collected through in-depth interviews, documentation, and observation. The results of this study show the communication strategy of regional disaster management agencies in the district of Ilir based on the dimensions of Cuztomer Focus (focusing on target groups), Leardership Commitment (there is leadership commitment), Incluzion of Communications in Planning and Operations (involvement of communication in planning and all stages of disaster management implementation. ), Situational Awareness (awareness of the current situation and condition), Media Partnership (partnering / media involvement), it is seen that the Regional Disaster Management Agency of Ogan Ilir Regency is implementing an effective communication strategy in flood disaster management in Muara Kuang sub-district. So it can be concluded that the communication strategy carried out is adequate and effective and for the Nagasari village community to have high enthusiasm in joint flood disaster management.
