IDENTIFIKASI SECARA MORFOLOGI PATOGEN PENYEBAB PENYAKIT LAYU PADA TANAMAN SIRSAK (Annona muricata L) DI SUMATERA SELATAN
Soursop (Annona muricata L) is a plant originating from the Caribbien, United States and Central America. The content in soursop fruit is very useful for offering various health benefits and contains vitamin C. This study aims to obtain information on the latest distribution of incindence and syamptoms of new wilt disease on soursop plants and to indentify pathogens that cause new wilt disease that occurs in soursop plants. The benefits of this research are expected to provide information about syomptoms, attacks and knowledge about the pathogens that cause new wilt disease that attacks soursop plants. This reaseach uses survey method with Purposive sampling technique. The results showed that wilt disease in soursop plants in South Sumatera was caused by this fungus Ceratocystis fimbriata. The highest percentage of attacks caused by this fungus was in North Indralaya District with 33,3% attack percentage. The morphology of the fungus Ceratocystis fimbriata from isolates of soursop (Annona muricata L) on stem lesions, namely Ascomata in the form of Perithecium, Divergent ostiolate hyphae, conidiophores/failida, Chlamydiospores in chains, Chlamydiopores in various forms Ascospores, Barrel conidia, Cylindrical conidia
