The objective of this research was to study the effect of restricted feeding and lighting on egg specific gravity of Silver brakel kriel. The research was conducted at Balai Pembibitan Ternak Unggul (BPTU) Sapi Dwiguna dan Ayam Petelur Sembawa Sumatera Selatan within three months, from October to December 2007. This research used completely randomized design (RAL) compiled Factorially 3x2, which were 3 given feed restriction (M) and 2 ligthing (R). This Research there were 6 treatments combination, each treatments consisted 3 replication, were by 5 Silver Brakel kriel. The parameters were egg weight, egg volume, egg density and egg gravity specific. Data analyzed using Anova and difference between treatments was analyzed by Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT). Egg weight and volume were had no significantly effect by Restricted Feeding and Lighting (P>0,05). One the other side egg density and specific gravity were significantly effected by lighting (P
