PROSES KOMUNIKASI PEMASARAN PRODUK KERAJINAN SONGKET WARNA ALAM KHAS OGAN ILIR DALAM MENINGKATKAN JUMLAH KONSUMEN (STUDI DESKRIPTIF KUALITATIF DI KAMPOENG TENUN OGAN ILIR DESA MUARA PENIMBUNG)
The title of this the Marketing Communication Process of Ogan Ilir’s Typical Natural Color Songket Craft Product in Increasing the Number of Consumers (Quality Descriptive Study in Kampoeng Tenun Ogan Ilir, Muara Penimbung Village). This research aims to determin how the marketing communication process carried out by Kampoeng Tenun Ogan Ilir. This study uses a qualitive method. According to kotler and amstrong, this research uses the theory, namely advertising, sales promotion, public relation, personal selling, and direct marketing. This study explores data and information through interviews with three informants, namely the manager of Kampoeng Tenun Ogan Ilir and the Head of the Ogan Ilir Regency Tourism Office, who are used as key informants. The supporting informants are buyers or songket users from Kampoeng Tenun Ogan Ilir. Therefore, the result of research that have been shown show that the marketing communication process carried out by Kmpoeng Tenun Ogan Ilir is following the observation in theory used. Because they have done marketing using two ways: social media and non-media, such as participating in exhibilitions, participating in fashion show competitions, and building production houses.
