This study aims to determine the role of the Religious Harmony Forum (FKUB) in Maintaining Inter-religious Harmony in South Sumatra Province. This research was conducted in the working environment of FKUB which is located at the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religion of the Province of South Sumatra. In terms of achieving the objectives to be obtained, the researcher uses aqualitative research approach with data collection in the form of interviews, documentation and direct observation of research informants. The results of this study indicate that the role of the Religious Harmony Forum (FKUB) in Maintaining Inter- religious Harmony in South Sumatra Province has been running quite well. Because FKUB has carriedout its duties and functions inaccordance with Joint Ministerial Regulations Number 9 and 8 of 2006. Where the roles carried out by FKUB are conducting dialogue with religious and community leaders, accommodating the aspirations of mass organizations and the community, channeling aspirations and socializinglegislation. and policies so that inter-religious harmony in South Sumatra can be maintainedproperly.
