HUBUNGAN PERAN KELUARGA TERHADAP KEPATUHAN BEROBAT PASIEN HIPERTENSI DI MASA PANDEMI
ABSTRACT Hypertension is a non-communicable disease and is very serious health problem. It is often referred to as the silent killer. It is a deadly disease without indication of symptoms and complaints that patients are unaware of their condition. Hypertensive patients have difficulty adhering to care and treatment during the pandemic which will worsen their health. The Support from the family as the closest part of the patient is needed for the patient to continue the regular treatment. This study aims at determining the relationship between family roles and adherence to treatment for hypertension patients during the pandemic in Ciptamuda Village, Buay Madang District. It is a cross sectional study with 70 respondents. From the respondents, 40% of whom were men and the rest are women, 75.7% had Senior high school education, 64.3% had a good category of family role, and 67.1% adhered to treatment.
