KRITIK SOSIAL PADA PEMBONGKARAN PASAR CINDE PALEMBANG MELALUI LAGU (ANALISIS HERMENEUTIKA PADA LIRIK LAGU “PASAR INI TELAH MUSNAH”)
Messages can be conveyed in various ways, including conveying criticism or suggestions through the art of music. Submission of opinions and opinions from the public will make decision makers have other considerations to get the best decisions. One of the criticisms conveyed by the public through music is about the plan to revitalize the Palembang Cinde Market. The musician from Palembang City who also criticized him was Jimi Delvian with his song “Pasar Ini Telah Musnah”. The lyrics of this song are discussed using Wilhelm Dilthey's Hermeneutics theory which is divided into three dimensions, namely "Erlibnis-Ausdruck-Verstehen". The results of this study obtained some of the most dominant meanings, namely criticism of the destruction of one of the cultural heritages in Palembang, namely the Pasar Cinde building. Furthermore, there is also criticism regarding the sustainability of people's lives who depend on the Cinde Market for their economy if it is changed to a more modern market. And this song is also a critique to the community about how they care about cultural heritage and the fate of the people who work and fulfill their needs there. Thus, it can be concluded that the meaning of social criticism in the song This Market Has Been Destroyed is to give a message that the Cinde Market should be preserved so that it becomes evidence that the community and government have concern for historical cultural heritage buildings and care for the people who depend their lives on economy at cinde market.
