The objectives of this study were to: 1) Calculate the level of household income of lebak swamp rice farmers in Pelabuhan Dalam Village, Pemulutan District, Ogan Ilir Regency, and 2) To determine the level of welfare of the lebak swamp rice farmer family in Pelabuhan Dalam Village, Pemulutan District, Ogan Ilir Regency. This research was conducted in Pelabuhan Dalam Village, Pemulutan District, Ogan Ilir Regency. Determination of the location is done deliberately with the research method used is the survey method. Data were collected from March to April 2018. The sampling method used was simple random sampling, which was taken from 30 families. The data used are primary data and secondary data. Primary data is obtained through direct interviews in the field with sample farmers regarding farmer identity and farmer income and welfare, while secondary data is obtained from related institutions, such as extension workers, Gapoktan, village monographs and previous research. The results showed that the total average household income was IDR26,864,489.38 per year with an average breakdown of IDR7,223,303.27 from rice farming, for non-rice farming activities with details of fish farming business of IDR2,785,186. 11 and milling business amounting to IDR1,189,655.17 and for other income or outside of farming is IDR15,706,000.00. This shows that outside income from rice farming gave a greater contribution, namely 58.46 percent, while non-rice farming only contributed less, namely 15.15 percent, the contribution made to rice farming was 26.89 percent. The contribution of rice farming income to total household income was 26.89 or categorized on the low scale. This is due to the high cost of seeds or seeds used because they are not cheaply purchased from outside the region which affects production costs and has an impact on the total income of farmer households. The welfare level of lowland swamp rice farmers in Pelabuhan Dalam Village is not yet prosperous because the total household income of farmers is only IDR3.622.805,65 per month, which is less than the value of the standard of decent living needs (KHL) of the total applicable farming family of Rp. month so that there is still a shortage of IDR1.384.098,20 per month.
