This research is entitled “The Role of PT. Tanjungenim Lestari Pulp and Paper in the Education Sector in Rambang Dangku District, Muara Enim Regency, 2012-2018”. The problem in this study is how the role of PT. Tanjungenim Lestari Pulp and Paper in the field of education in Rambang Dangku District in 2012-2018. The purpose of this study is to explain the role of PT. Tanjungenim Lestari Pulp and Paper in the field of education in Rambang Dangku District in 2012-2018. The method used in this study is the historical methods with steps including heuristics, source criticism, interpretation and historiography. The results of this study indicate that PT. Tanjungenim Lestari Pulp and Paper does not only carry out company activities but also carries out social responsibility to the community known as the CSR program. With this program, the company can provide its role in various fields, especially in the field of education. This role can improve the quality of human resources to the community around the company.
