This study is entitled "Social Relations of Sukamulya Village, Lempuing District, Ogan Komering Ilir District" which analyzes the process of social relations and forms of social relations that occur in multiethnic communities. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative research method by describing the process and form of multiethnic social relations in the Village of Sukamulya, Lempuing District, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency. This study uses the concept from Soerjono Soekanto regarding social relations that are associative and disassociative. Information gathering was obtained through direct observation at the research location and conducting in-depth interviews with ten informants which consisted of Madurese, Komering, Javanese, and Sundanese ethnic groups. The results of this study indicate that there is a cooperative relationship and competition between ethnic communities. The cooperative relationship is formed from the existence of goals and interests to be achieved together. The forms of cooperation that occur between multi-ethnic communities are divided into 3 (three) forms, namely economic, social and cultural. Whereas the competition that occurs between multi-ethnic communities here does not cause divisions, because competition that occurs is only limited to work. Then the process of social relations that is formed is also based on a sense of kinship between the people who help one another in joy and sorrow.
