KEPEMIMPINAN PEREMPUAN DALAM BIROKRASI PEMERINTAH DAERAH (STUDI KEPEMIMPINAN PEREMPUAN DI BEBERAPA DINAS DAERAH SUMATERA SELATAN)
Women's leadership in the public sector is considered a minority group, because men dominate the broad arena of the public sector. The culture of society which has been passed down from generation to generation which says that the role of men in the public sector while the role of women in the domestic sector makes women's participation in the public sector low. Whereas women can also take on roles in the public sector. The researcher discusses Women's Leadership in the South Sumatra Regional Government Bureaucracy, namely the Regional Personnel Agency, the Director of the Ernaldi Bahar Hospital, and the Head of the Archives Agency. The purpose of this study was to determine the leadership background as well as the supporting and inhibiting factors of women's leadership in the Regional Personnel Agency, the Director of Ernaldi Bahar Hospital, and the Head of the Archives Agency. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The results of the study show that the background of the existence of women's leadership in the positions of the Regional Personnel Agency, Head of the Archives Agency, Director of the Ernaldi Bahar Hospital, namely the character and background of personal life (family, education, career path) of each and there are also supporting factors such as talent and self-confidence and the inhibiting factors are cultural barriers, women's domestic roles, low work environment support, low motivation.
