This thesis is entitled The Phenomenon of Money Politics in the 2019 Village Head Election (Case Study of Simpang Tiga Pumu Village, Lahat Regency). The problem taken in this research is how the to draw money politics in Simpang Tiga Pumu Village, Lahat Regency in the village head election in 2019. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. The data was collected by means of in-depth interviews, literature study, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that draw of money politics in the village head election in the village of Simpang Tiga Pumu, Lahat Regency is 1) Citizens who still receive money even though they already know it should not be done, this is in the political culture of the Koula subject, 2) Residents who do not receive money but asking for office, this is included in the political culture of the Koula subject, and 3) Citizens who really do not receive money or offers of office, this is included in the political culture of the participants.
