Family control in Batanghari Ogan village is carried out in order to prevent adolescent sexual behavior. The objects in this study is a family with adolencent in Batanghari Ogan village. The purpose of this research is to examine the family control in preventing adolescent sexual behavior in Batanghari Ogan Village which focused on the process and form of family control with an analysis of the social control theory of Travice Hirschi. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative with the main informants being family (parents and siblings of adolescent) and adolescent as well as supporting informants is village officials, puskesmas officers, and the community. The data collection techniques in this research are in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that adolescent sexual behavior in Batanghari Ogan Village occurs in several forms (holding hands/cuddling, watching porn, kissing, and having sex) and is motivated by several things (instinctive desire, social environment, and curiosity). The control process carried out by the family in preventing adolescent sexual behavor in Batanghari Ogan Village, is goes through several stages before sexual behavior occurs (advise and build communication to adolescents, and providing rules and prohibitions as a commitment) and the process when the violation occurs, the family takes action in the form of scolding the adolescent. Then, the form of control carried out by family is by advising, instilling religious values, limiting, and scholding the adolescent.
