PROKRASTINASI AKADEMIK (PERILAKU PENUNDAAN AKADEMIK) PADA MAHASISWA TINGKAT AKHIR DALAM MENYUSUN SKRIPSI DI UNIVERSITAS SRIWIJAYA
In this study, it discusses “Academic Procrastination (Academic Delay Behavior) in Final Level Students in Writing Thesis at Sriwijaya University. This research was conducted on students at the Sriwijaya University campus. The data used in this study are primary data and secondary data obtained through observation, interviews and documentation. The data obtained were analyzed using descriptive qualitative analysis methods. There are three informants in this study, namely key informants, main informants, amd supporting informants. The results of this study indicate that the form of academic procrastination so that final year students have not completed their thesis due to work, laziness, and the three forms of organization are Innate Behavior (Natural Behavior) and Operant Behavior (Operan Behavior). Factors that cause students to do academic procrastination are due to their friendship environment, difficualy in writing theses, helping their parents, lifestyle, and organizational management. The impact of students doing procrastination, namely feeling sorry, felling depressed, and increasing costs in behavioral theory, this is a punishment (Punishment), while increasing relationship and appreciating time are reinforcement (Reinforcment).
