FENOMENA BROKER POLITIK DI MASYARAKAT KELURAHAN MUARA KELINGI KABUPATEN MUSI RAWAS PADA PEMILIHAN LEGISLATIF TAHUN 2019
The phenomenon of political brokerage is a problem that often occurs during legislative elections. This study aims to determine a person's motives for becoming a political broker and the negative impact of the practice of political brokerage in the 2019 legislative elections. The theory used is Alfard Schutz's phenomenological theory. This research method used is descriptive qualitative. Sources of data obtained from primary data through observation, interviews and documentation. The technique of determining the informants used purpose sampling with 7 informants consisting of two key informants, three main informants and two supporting informants. The results of this study indicate that someone who became a political broker in the 2019 legislative election in the community of Muara Kelingi village for his in-order-to-motive actions or motives for and motives that are oriented to the past (because motive) or a cause motive. The motives are divided into six, namely to maintain kinship, to maintain friendship, to help, to earn income, commitment to ease of getting a job and commitment to medical costs. The motive for the cause is divided into two, namely learning from hanging out with friends and learning from past legislative elections. The negative impact of the practice of political brokerage in the 2019 legislative elections in the community of Muara Kelingi village public attitude that does not trush the government, disrupting harmony and harmony and the inability of legislative elections based on the law.
