ANALISIS KURIKULUM SMP DI INDONESIA DALAM PERSPEKTIF SOCIO-SCIENTIFIC ISSUE
This research aims to analyze the 2013 Science Department Curriculum for SMP in terms of socio-scientific issue perspective. The method used in this research was descriptive qualitative method, with content analysis techniques. In this study, the 33 of Basic Competencies (KD) was analyzed. Based on the results, in the Environmental Category there were eight appropriate KDs, four KDs suitable in Biotechnology Category, nine KDs suitable in Technology Category, one KD suitable in Energy Category, and one KDs suitable in Health Category. The total of Basic Competence (KD) according to the category or the SSI aspect were 31 KDs. This paper also includes examples of how to integrate these basic competencies in science learning.
