PERLAKUAN MEKANIK TERHADAP BAJA ST 37 SAAT DI BERI CAIRAN AIR AKI DAN ASAM SULFAT DAN EFEK TERHADAP LAJU KOROSI
This study was to determine the effect of liquid battery water and sulfuric acid on metal by mechanical testing of the rokwell test on st 37 steel, copper, and aluminum. Corrosive liquid consists of battery water and sulfuric acid (H2SO4 10%). This research was conducted to see changes in weight and changes in metal strength before and after being corrosive, changes in metal strength compared to before and after being corrosive. The results showed that the change in weight was greatest for st 37 steel (3.51%) , and aluminum (3.38%). for changes in the mechanical strength of steel, the change was greater, namely (23 HRA) after being tested for hardness by the rokwell test method and the second for aluminum was (86 HRA). The conclusion from the research of st 37 steel metal changes faster in both weight and mechanical strength compared to copper and aluminum.
