ANALISIS STRUKTURAL GENETIK LUCIEN GOLDMANN DALAM NOVEL KIM JI-YOUNG (BORN 1982) KARYA NAM JOO-CHO
This study aims to analyze the intrinsic and extrinsic structures contained in the novel Kim Ji-Young (Born 1982) by Nam Joo-Cho. The type of this research that uses a structural approach (intrinsic) and Lucien Goldmann’s genetic structuralism approach (extrinsic). The result show that there is a structure behind the relation beetwen the unity of the characters and the stroryline, that it called with intrinsic structure. Based on the results of the intrinsic story structure, a description of the socio-cultural reality of Korean society is found which can be seen from all the activities and events that occur in the novel character (extrinsic structure) which is analyzed based on 1) Human facts, 2) Collective subjects, 3) Structuring literary works, 4)The author’s world vies and 5) Dialectics. The conclusion of this study is that the structure of the novel shows discrimanation and sexism against women, The Hwa-Byeong Syndrome and The Author’s world view of Confucianism.
