This Research about of the Survival Strategy for the Family of Kumpe Berayun Dam Sidewalk, 23 Ilir Village, Palembang City in Facing the Covid-19 Pandemi. The purpose of this study is to understand the survival strategy of the family of Kumpe Berayun workers on the edge of the 23 Ilir sub-district, Palembang city in the face of the Covid-19 pandemi. and to find out the function of the strategy carried out by the family of workers and to know the strategies formed in the family life of the workers of Kumpe Berayun pinggi dam 23 Ilir Village, Palembang city in the face of the Covid-19 pandemi. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques were carried out by means of observation, interviews and documentation. The concept used in this research is Suharto's Survival Strategy. The results of the research are that before the Covid-19 pandemi occurred, the workers' income was sufficient to meet their daily needs, after the Covid-19 Pandemi their income could not meet their daily needs. so that the workers must apply several strategies to survive such as implementing the Active Strategy, Passive Strategy, and Network Strategy.
