STUDI ETNOBOTANI TUMBUHAN OBAT DI DESA BERINGIN MAKMUR KECAMATAN RAWAS ILIR KABUPATEN MUSI RAWAS SUMATERA SELATAN
The has done research about “The Study of Medicine Plants Ethnobotany in the Beringin Makmur Village District Rawas Ilir Regency Musi Rawas of South Sumatera” in May until October 2013. Purpose of the study to determine the types of medicinal plants, plant parts used as medicine,as well as medicinal herbs and how to make it. The method used in this study is a naturalistic method (qualitative) and Participatory Rural Appraisal, which is a process -oriented assessment of the involvement and active public role in the research process. The results showed that there are 71 species used in traditional medicine, family is the most widely used Zingiberaceae (5 species), while the most widely used species namely Curcuma domestica. 71 species obtained from the 3 way is planted, wild, and purchased. Part of the most widely used plant leaves (28 species) while the least is the seed (2 species). Habitus number of medicinal plants are dominated by trees (31 species) further herbs (24 species), while the least is the level of lianas (6 species). From the results obtained are 8 types of special plants used as medicine at Beringin Makmur village and 33 medicinal herbs commonly used by Rawas ethnic society consisting of two ways, namely treatment of the outside and inside.
