MANAJEMEN PUBLIC RELATIONS PADA RSI SITI KHADIJAH PALEMBANG DALAM MENINGKATKAN CITRA RUMAH SAKIT
This study aim to explain public relations managemen of Siti Khadijah Palembang Hospital in improving the image of the Hospital. Based on the predicate, Siti Khadijah Palembang Hospital should have better service quality, however with the results of initial observations, the researcher found the services that had been provided by the hospital staff were still not optimal. The theory that used in this research is Public Relations Management Theory by Mc Elreath which states that public relations management activities include the main functions of management as a whole, namely planning, organizing, leadership, staffing, communication, supervision, and assessment. The research method used in this study is a qualitative method. Data collection techniques used in this study are in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of this study found that out of 7 dimensions there are only 5 dimensions that have been implemented well and the other 2 dimensions are dissatisfactory. Suggestions in this study are to have a second plan of work program preparation, maximize the culture of smiles and greetings, especially in terms of attitude, and involving employees in all activities carried out by the hospital.
