This thesis is entitled "Legal Protection of Customers Using Safe Deposit Box Services (Study of Decision Number 226/Pdt.G/2019/PN.Dps and Decision Number 226/Pdt.G/2019PN.Bpp)". the bank and legal protection for customers in the Safe Deposit Box rental agreement. The research method used is the normative legal research method, namely research conducted and submitted to various written laws and regulations and various literatures related to the problems in this research and studies Decision Number: 226/Pdt.G/2019 and Decision Number: 244/Pdt.G/2019/PN.Bpp. In this writing, normative legal materials are used in accordance with the provisions of the applicable laws and regulations. The results of this study indicate that the arrangements and procedures in the Safe Deposit Box rental agreement in its implementation there are still many gaps such as standard clauses in the Safe Deposit Box rental agreement. The inclusion of standard clauses in the Safe Deposit Box rental agreement is contrary to banking principles, thereby harming the customer. Legal protection for customers using Safe Deposit Boxes is based on Article 7 of Law Number 8 of 1999 concerning Consumer Protection which regulates the obligations of the bank as a business actor, and the bank is responsible for indemnifying the customer's material and immaterial losses in accordance with article 19 paragraph 1 Consumer Protection.
