This research is entitled "Government Discretion in Financing in the Context of Handling the Covid-19 Pandemic". This research is based on the first background of the Covid-19 pandemic which has a broad impact on every area of ​​human life, so that discretion is needed from the government to immediately deal with the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic, especially in the field of state financial financing, both governments tend to be afraid to use discretion due to discretion. vulnerable to criminalization, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic. Law Number 30 of 2014 concerning Government Administration and Law Number 2 of 2020 concerning State Financial Policy and Financial System Stability for Handling the Covid-19 Pandemic have regulated both in general and specifically regarding procedures for exercising discretion in the financing sector in the context of handling the Covid-19 pandemic and the form of legal protection obtained by the government when exercising discretion in the financing sector in the context of handling the Covid-19 pandemic. This research is a normative research that uses legislation approach and conceptual approach.
