This research is entitled “Readiness of Local Media Enim Ekspres as Subsidiary of Sumatera Ekspres in Facing Convergence”. This study aims to determine the Readiness of Enim Ekspres as subsidairy from Sumatera Ekspre in facing the challenges of convergence of local media in Muara Enim Regency. This study uses the theory of media convergence from Dailey, Demo, Spillman, and uses descriptive qualitative methods. Data were obtained from in-depth intervies with two main informants and one additional informant, observation, literature study, and documetation. The results showed that the media convergence readniess carried out by Enim Ekspres fulfilled the five elements in media convergence readniess. First, the readness of cross-media promotion between print and online media. Second, the multiplication of content in media convergence that has been carried out. Third, there is competition in working together to promote content to all audiences. Fourth, there is content sharing between online and print media or a large group in providing news information. Fifth, there is a cooperation both in producing news and content after a media convergence occours. Keywords: Convergence Media, Enim Ekspres.
