HUBUNGAN NITRAT DAN FOSFAT TERHADAP KELIMPAHAN FITOPLANKTON DI MUARA SUNGAI UPANG KABUPATEN BANYUASIN, SUMATERA SELATAN
Perairan Muara Sungai Upang merupakan perairan yang banyak digunakan oleh para nelayan untuk berbagai kegiatan seperti mencari ikan, jalur transportasi air maupun kebutuhan penduduk. Hubungan nitrat dan fosfat terhadap kelimpahan fitoplankton dapat digunakan untuk mengetahui kondisi perairan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengidentifikasi jenis-jenis fitoplankton, menganalisis struktur komunitas dan menganalisis keterkaitan nitrat dan fosfat terhadap kelimpahan fitoplankton di Muara Sungai Upang. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Februari 2020, pengambilan sampel dan pengukuran dilakukan pada 9 titik stasiun. Pengambilan sampel meliputi sampel air fitoplankton, sampel nitrat dan fosfat. Pengukuran parameter fisika-kimia meliputi pH, suhu, DO, salinitas, kecerahan dan arus. Keterkaitan nitrat dan fosfat terhadap kelimpahan fitoplankton dilakukan dengan analisis regresi sederhana. Komposisi fitoplankton ditemukan sebanyak 16 genus dari 3 kelas. Persentase komposisi kelas fitoplankton Bacillariophyceae (95%), Chlorophyceae (1%), Cyanophyceae (4%). Kelimpahan fitoplankton berkisar antara 378 – 891 ind/L. Berdasarkan hasil analisis regresi sederhana didapatkan nilai korelasi antara keterkaitan nitrat terhadap kelimpahan fitoplankton adalah 0,7494 mempunyai hubungan yang kuat dan nilai korelasi antara keterkaitan fosfat terhadap kelimpahan fitoplankton adalah 0,0934 mempunyai hubungan yang sangat lemah. The waters of the Upang River Estuary are waters that are widely used by fishermen for various activities such as fishing , water transportation and the needs of the population . The relationship of nitrate and phosphate to the abundance of phytoplankton can be used to determine water conditions. The purpose of this study to m engidenti fication types of phytoplankton , analyzed the community structure and m enganalisis nitrate and phosphate linkage to the abundance of phytoplankton in the estuary Upang. This research was conducted on the month February 2020, sampling and measurement were carried out at 9 station points. Sampling included phytoplankton water samples, nitrate and phosphate samples, samples for measurement of physico-chemical parameters including pH, temperature, DO, salinity, brightness and current, while the linkage of nitrate and phosphate to phytoplankton abundance was carried out by simple regression analysis. The composition of phytoplankton was found in 16 genera from 3 classes. The percentage composition of the phytoplankton class Bacillariophyceae (95%), Chlorophyceae (1 %), Cyanophyceae (4 %) . The abundance of phytoplankton ranged from 378 - 891 ind / l. Based on the results of simple regression analysis, it was found that the correlation value between the association of nitrate to the abundance of phytoplankton was 0.7494 which has a strong relationship and the correlation value between the association of phosphate to the abundance of phytoplankton is 0.0934 which has a very weak relationship.
