Coral reefs are marine ecosystems that function as island protectors from waves and act as shelters, foraging and spawning for associated biota. Parrot Fish has a positive impact in maintaining or sustaining coral reef ecosystems . This study aims to analysis the condition of coral reefs and abundance of Parrot Fish and analyze the type of Parrot Fish that were found as well as the relationship between coral reefs and abundance of Parrot Fish in Kelagian Island waters. This research was carried out in February 2021 in the waters of Kelagian Island, Lampung Province. Coral data collection method using quadrant transects combined with the method Underwater Photo Transect. Abundance of Parrot Fish is taken by using video belt transect . The results showed the condition of coral reefs in the category of medium and good value persentase live coral cover 39.17%, 50.34 % , 51.33% and the abundance of Parrot Fish 1 ind / m . The relationship between coral reefs with an abundance of Parrot Fish is the better condition of the coral reefs, the more abundant parrot fish will be and the water parameters also have a major influence on the condition of coral reefs and fish abundance.
