This research entitled “Communication Style of Bank Sumsel Babel Shooting Club Coaches in Increasing Athlete’s Confidence”. Bank Sumsel Babel Shooting Club is a club that supports shooting athletes in South Sumatra to achieve national and international achievements. The purpose of this study was to determine the communication style used by Bank Sumsel Babel Shooting Club coaches in increasing the athlete's confidence, from the six styles, namely the controlling style, the equalitarian style, the structuring style, the dynamic style, the relinguishing style, and the withdrawal style, also effect on increasing the athlete's self-confidence. The theory used in this study is the communication style proposed by Jerry W. Koehler, Karl W. E. Anatol, and Ronald L. Applbaum. The research method applied is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, non-participant observation, and document retrieval and visual documentation. This study shows that the communication style used by Bank Sumsel Babel Shooting Club coaches is found to be more than one style, namely the equalitarian style and the structuring style.
