This research is entitled “Evaluasi Kegiatan Pelatihan Dasar (Latsar) bagi Calon Pegawai Negeri Sipil (PNS) Golongan III Kabupaten Ogan Ilir Tahun 2019”. This study aims to determine the evaluation of Basic Training (LATSAR) activities for Candidates for Civil Servants (PNS) group III in Ogan Ilir Regency in 2019. The research method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method. Sources of data obtained from primary data and secondary data, data collection techniques through interviews, documentation, and observation. This study uses the CIPP evaluation model from Stufflebeam which has four aspects, namely Context Evaluation, Input Evaluation, Process Evaluation, Product Evaluation. The results of this study indicate that this Latsar activity has been carried out but has not been maximized, it can be seen from there are still obstacles and shortcomings in each series of activities. Judging from the findings of the coordination between the committee and widyaiswara which is still minimal, besides that the coordination between widyaiswara is minimal, other factors such as budget, facilities and infrastructure are adequate so that latsar activities can be carried out regularly. Thus the output of this Latsar activity has also been seen, namely in the form of benefits felt by the Latsar participants themselves.
