Interpersonal communication is a way of conveying or expressing the role played by individuals to individuals which are messages in private that cannot be done en masse. the role played by parents to children aims to establish and personal closeness to build children's attitudes that can be better. This study aims to discuss the role of communication between parents and children personally to produce the existence of a role between parents and children to establish closeness and openness of children's attitudes. This study raises the topic of juvenile delinquency caused by a lack of communication by parents to children, which means that communication from both directions is not effectively intertwined, causing gaps in the family. This research is a qualitative research using descriptive methods that use data collection techniques in the form of in-depth interviews, observations, literature study and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the sense of openness between children and parents is not properly established, the empathy given by the parents and the scope of the child forms a bad personality attitude of the child, the supportive attitude of local residents who try to overcome deviant attitudes. carried out by children, positive attitudes from parents to provide a sense of openness and bring children into a better attitude and, equality of attitudes of parents that are taken to provide a sense of care for children so as to provide openness.
