UPAYA UNITED NATIONS MISSION IN SOUTH SUDAN DALAM MELINDUNGI KORBAN CONFLICT-RELATED SEXUAL VIOLENCE PADA KONFLIK SUDAN SELATAN
This research aims to find out the effort of the international actors of the United Nations Mission in South Sudan in protecting victims of Conflict-Related Sexual Violence in the South Sudan conflict. The rise of reports of the CRSV case in South Sudan urges the international organization UN to mandate the UNMISS to conducts peacekeeping operation missions to protect civilians and keep sustainable peace. This research is studied using the concept of Gender Sensitive Conflict Analysis (GSCA). The author used a qualitative descriptive research method with the aim of explaining the phenomenon in depth through data analysis steps by utilizing the concept as explanatory material. The research data is collected through literature study, online data search, and documentation. The results show that the UNMISS has succeeded in carrying out efforts to protect victims of CRSV through analysis contextual, intersectional, and participatory. This can be seen from the decreasing number of cases and the number of victims as well as lots of appreciations from civil society for UNMISS' hard work
