Along with the increasingly rapid development of the era, machines and technology have been directly involved in all human activities, including agricultural activities. The logic of modern thinking has also become a reference and farmers have begun to abandon traditional habits that are required for meaning and are philosophical and based on local wisdom. Ulak Segelung Village is one of the villages in Indralaya Induk Subdistrict that is already familiar with technology in the daily activities of Lebak swamp rice farming. Even though technology has been directly involved in rice farming activities for lebak swamp rice, there is still a lot of local wisdom that is still practiced by farmers and has been passed down from generation to generation. This local wisdom must be known and maintained because Indonesia is indeed a cultured and diverse country. The objectives of this research are: (1) Identifying local wisdom that is applied by the community in the management of the irawa ilebak area in the village of Ulak Segelung Ogan iIlir Regency. (2) Analyzing the household income of petani petani Desa Ulak Kecamatan. (3) Analyzing the effect of local wisdom and other factors on the income of the Padi farming business in Ulak Segelung Village, Ogan Ilir Regency. The method used in this research is descriptive exploratory method and survey method (survey method). Descriptive method is used to describe or explain something based on actual circumstances, such as conditions, circumstances, situations, events or activities. Furthermore, the survey method was used to obtain information on selling prices, production quantities, production costs, labor wages, and other sources of income from Lebak swamp rice farmers in Ulak Segelung Village. This method is done by providing a list of questions (questionnaires) to the respondents and then conducting in-depth interviews with them. The time of data collection is carried out in February 2021 to March 2021. The results of this analysis are; (1) Local wisdom practiced by farmers is in physical form, such as the use of traditional tools in the form of hoes, machetes and so on, the use of seeds from previous harvests. Apart from physical local wisdom, there is also non-physical local wisdom such as the prohibition of eating in the pelang or shipyard during the planting season, the use of sounds when repelling bird pests, alms given at harvest. (2) The income of rice farmers in Ulak Selung Village is still relatively low. The total income of farmers from the fields of rawa lebak in Ulak Segelung village is Rp221,835,303 per year (3) The factors that have a significant influence on the income of the rice farming business are the area of land (X1), selling price (X2), production yield (X3), production cost (X4), Local Wisdom Dummy (D1).
