PREPARASI DAN PENGUJIAN ALLOY Na-Al DENGAN KATALIS Co/C SEBAGAI PENYIMPAN HIDROGEN
Na-Al alloy using Co/C catalyst at various mass variations of the catalyst was successfully synthesized. The alloy of Na and Al metals are made with a mole ratio (1: 1) and a milling time of 3 hours and a Ball to Powder Ratio (BPR) (10: 1). Based on the characterization results of XRD, the Na-Al + Co / C alloy formed according to JCPDS (No 22-1337) and JCPDS (No 42-1467). Meanwhile, the results of SEM characterization, the morphology of the alloy of Na-Al + Co/C both before and after adsorption were mixed homogeneously. The adsorption capacity of hydrogen from the Na-Al alloy increased with increasing catalyst content and the largest adsorption was shown in the Na-Al alloy with 20 wr% Co/C catalyst content, with an adsorption capacity of 26.81% at a pressure of 5 bar and a recorded temperature 33.2oC
