DINAMIKA AIR DAN PRODUKSI TANAMAN PADI MUSIM TANAM KEDUA DI DESA TELANG KARYA P8-6S, BANYUASIN
The magnitude of potential in tidal land to supporting rice productivity is still limited by several factors in management, especially in the field of water governance and land management networks. This research aims to study the effect of tersier level water management on the conditions of the groundwater for rice water needs and effects to level of rice production in the second planting season. The research was carried out in Delta Telang I tidal land, Telang Karya Village Block Tersier 2, P8-6S Banyuasin Regency from March 2018 to June 2018. The research method used was a survey and direct observation of the water channel and 17 ha rice field map in tersier block 2, the observation of the channel water level was measured using a phielschale board and observation of groundwater in the business area using wells pipes, observations carried out for 107 days. The results of the study showed that water management at the tersier channel level affected the state of the water surface in the bussines area for the water needs of the rice plants. The value of SEW -20 show are the results that the water requirements in the land for rice plants in the second planting season are fulfilled by the groundwater conditions averagingover -20 cm under the soil surface. Rice production in the second planting season is relatively low compared than first planting season, altough in terms of management the land is the same as the first planting season and water needs during the cultivation process when the second planting season is sufficient.
