PERAN KEARIFAN LOKAL TERHADAP PENDAPATAN USAHATANI PADI RAWA LEBAK DI DESA SUNGAI PINANG III KECAMATAN SUNGAI PINANG KABUPATEN OGAN ILIR
Swampy land is a farming ecosystem that contributes to rice production in Indonesia located in South Sumatra. Local wisdom is basic knowledge about the balance of life between humans and the environment, is a unique type of knowledge that has been accumulated in the past and practiced by the community for generations. In farming, most of the people still carry out the traditions or traditional ways of carrying out their farming. The purpose of this study was to (1) identify and classify local wisdom in Sungai Pinang III Village, Sungai Pinang District, Ogan Ilir Regency using the ISEPSA Matrix (Fachrurrozie Sjarkowi, 2004) (2) analyze the income of swampy land rice farming in Sungai Pinang III Village, Sungai Pinang Subdistrict, Ogan Ilir Regency uses farming analysis (3) analysis of local influence on rice farming income in Sungai Pinang III Village, Ogan Ilir Regency using Multiple Linear Regression analysis and Dummy Variables. The method used in this study is an descriptive method which is carried out by solving problems that are widely explored about the causes or things that affect the occurrence of something based on the facts that exist in the field and a survey method where direct interviews are carried out in the field by giving questionnaire to respondents using a sample of 35 rice farmers of lebak swamp. The time of data collection for this research was carried out from February 2021 to March 2021. The results of this study indicate that from 35 respondents in this study, it can be seen that local wisdom carried out by farmers in Sungai Pinang III Village starts from local wisdom in land preparation and processing, namely farmers still use traditional tools such as hoes, machetes or sickles, local wisdom in procurement of seeds, namely farmers still use seeds from previous harvests, local wisdom in fertilization, namely using manure and local wisdom in plant maintenance, namely farmers still using scarecrows and using machetes or sickles. For the total income of swampy land rice farming in Sungai Pinang III Village, the amount obtained is Rp33,098,500/lg/year and the factors that have a significant effect on rice farming income are local wisdom, selling price, production results and local wisdom of fertilization, while land area, production costs, local wisdom of plant maintenance and post-harvest local wisdom have no significant effect on rice farming income.
