PENGARUH JUMLAH STEK PER LUBANG TANAM DAN SISTEM BUDIDAYA TANAM BERTINGKAT TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN DAN HASIL UBI JALAR (Ipomea batatas. L)
This study was conducted to compare the growth and yield of sweet potato growth with different number of cuttings with different planting hole in a multilevel cultivation system. This research was conducted from January-April 2021. The study was conducted in one of the garden in Jembatan Gantung village, Jirak Jaya Musi Banyuasin (3o11'34.7''S 103o40'33.2''E). This study was structured using a Randomized Block Design (RBD) with descriptive data analysis through visual images, graphs, and photos. The treatment consisted of planting depth A (Single) 1 cutting, B (Bottom level 2) 1 cutting, C (Top level 2) 1 cutting, D (Bottom level 3) 1 cutting, E (Middle Level 3) 1 cutting, F ( Top Level 3) 1 cutting, A (Single) 4 cuttings, B (Bottom Level 2) 4 cuttings, C (Top Level 2) 4 cuttings, D (Bottom Level 3) 4 cuttings, E (Middle Level 3) 4 cuttings, F (Top Level 3) 4 cuttings, A (Single) 7 cuttings, B (Bottom level 2) 7 cuttings, C (Top Level 2) 7 cuttings, D (Bottom Level 3) 7 cuttings, E (Middle Level 3) 7 cuttings, and F (Top Level 3) 7 cuttings. Parameters observed included tendril length (cm), fresh stover weight (grams), dry stover weight (grams), tuber fresh weight (grams), and tuber diameter (cm). The results showed that the increase in the number of cuttung in each planting hole was more than 1 (one) cuttings, it caused the crop yield to decrease and the stratified planting system also did not have an impact on improving growth and better yields.
