This study aims to determine the effectiveness of compulsory scout activities at SMP Negeri 1 Indralaya Utara in terms of Permendikbud number 63 of 2014. This research is a quantitative study with a population of all students from grade 7 to grade 9 at SMP Negeri 1 Indralaya Utara, but the sample taken is only 79 people. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling technique, namely the sampling of I members of the population is carried out randomly without regard to the strata in the population.The researcher focused the research on students in grades V11 and V111 of SMP Negeri 1 Indralaya Utara in mandatory Scouting activities. Data collection techniques were obtained by using documentation and questionnaires. The data analysis technique in this study used validity and reliability tests with an error rate (α) = 10%. The software used in this study is SPSS version 22.0. The results of the study can be concluded that the mandatory Scouting activities at SMP Negeri 1 Indralaya Utara are said to be effective in terms of the Regulation of the Minister of Education and Culture number 63 of 2014
