The purpose of this research is to describe how the Effect of Emotional Intelligence on Students' Learning Motivation in Economics Subject Class XI at SMAN 1 Indralaya Utara. The research method used in this research is descriptive quantitative. Data collection techniques used are questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis technique used normality test, homogeneity test, simple linearity test and hypothesis testing. Based on the results of the t-test obtained = 102,398 = 2,016 then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. The test determines to find out how much influence the X variable affects the Y variable, the results are 99.6% and the remaining 0.4% is influenced by other variables. There is an emotional influence on students' learning motivation in economics class XI at SMAN 1 Indralaya Utara. In this study, it is hoped that schools can fix deficiencies in order to be able to increase students' learning motivation. And is expected to pay attention to the quality of presentation and presentation of learning materials well. Keywords: Emotional Intelligence, Learning Motivation
