The objective of this research was to study production of organic zinc feed supplement with tapioca waste fermented by using Aspergillus niger. This reseach held for two months from July to August 2009 in Animal Nutrition and Feed Laboratory Agriculture Faculty of Sriwijaya University. Completely Randomized Design with four treatments and three replications: OFO (control), OF1 (tapioca waste fermented + 5% ZnS04), OF2 (tapioca waste fermented + 10% ZnS04), OF3 (tapioca waste fermented + 15% ZnS04) were used. Observed parameters were microbial growth population, crude protein (CP), microbial biomass product (MBP), yield fermentation, zinc concentration, and solubility of organic zinc.
