PERANCANGAN MOBILE USER EXPERIENCE SISTEM INFORMASI AKADEMIK UNIVERSITAS SRIWIJAYA DENGAN STRATEGI PERANCANGAN LEAN UX
Sriwijaya University built and started the operation of an academic information system, often referred to as SIMAK, in 2008 with the web technology available at that time. SIMAK was built with the assumption that the user will access them with a web browser on their PC or notebook. Therefore, when the researchers used SIMAK as a student of Sriwijaya University, several crucial problems were found on the SIMAK interface design, especially for the users that accessed them with a handheld device. Due to these problems, there is an opportunity to help Sriwijaya University with designing and development of SIMAK that focuses on user experience for the users with a handheld device. In the process of designing and developing the user experience, the Lean UX strategy is used as a framework for the design and development process with the scope of the design is limited to student user group. The output of the development and design process is an interactive prototype developed through two iterations of stages on Lean UX strategy. The interactive prototype was tested to the research participants and measured with performance measurement technique. The effectiveness values of the tested prototype are 93.94% for the first iteration and 94.44% for the second iteration, and the efficiency values of the tested prototype are 84.01% for the first iteration and 86.61% for the second iteration.
