Since the last 10 years, animals inventory research has been carried out in Campus Area of Sriwijaya University, Indralaya, Ogan Ilir. Various types of species have been found and recorded in several inventory studies that have been carried out, but there is no database that accommodates all research data on animals inventory in Campus Area of Sriwijaya University, Indralaya, Ogan Ilir, which make the existing research data still scattered and there is no media that accommodates the data. With all various research data that all scattered, then it is a necessary to create an inventory for all the research data that have been scattered so that the data can be collected into a vertebrate diversity database. Database as data sharing media can assist in managing biodiversity conservation activities at Campus Area of Sriwijaya University, Indralaya, Ogan Ilir, as well as in South Sumatra. The collected database can be used later as input to larger biodiversity database platform such as InaBIF, iNaturalist, and other platform that containing animals data, so that the data can contribute more to biodiversity management. The target from the creation of a database of animals diversity, especially vertebrates in Campus Area of Sriwijaya University, Indralaya, Ogan Ilir are collecting all research data on animals diversity that has been carried out in the last 10 years in Campus Area of Sriwijaya University, Indralaya, Ogan Ilir. With the available data, we can find out the diversity of animals, especially vertebrates in the last 10 years, and also the research is expected to be the basis for research on animals diversity in Campus Area of Sriwijaya University, Ogan Ilir which will be carried out in the future. The research was carried out from July 2020 to April 2021, data collection was carried out in September 2020, the location of data collection in the Department of Biology, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Sriwijaya University Indralaya Campus, Ogan Ilir, and the available data on UNSRI repository website. The research method that used is descriptive qualitative and quantitative methods with the secondary data as the type of the collected data. The reseach design are the data collection, data sorting, data tabulation, data validation, and data analysis. Various research data on the diversity of vertebrate that found in Campus Area of Sriwijaya University, Ogan Ilir has been collected from various sources and already become a vertebrate diversity database. There are 5 thesis titles with vertebrate diversity data in Campus Area of Sriwijaya University, Ogan Ilir, with the research year from 2014 until 2018. Based on the data in all the theses, there are 4 classes of Vertebrate, which are Amphibhians, Reptiles, Aves, and Mammals, with a total number of species recorded being 91 species. In conclusion with the various data that have been collected, the objective of the research which is to collect the vertebrates data that found in Campus Area of Sriwijaya University, Ogan Ilir has been achieved. In the future it is recommended to carried out more animals research in Campus Area of Sriwijaya University, Ogan Ilir, for both new research and an update research of the existing data.
