UJI KINERJA ALAT PENGGILING Pin Mill pada PENGGILINGAN UBI JALAR UNGU (Ipomoea batatas Var Ayumurasaki)
The purpose of this study was to determine the number of rotations of the disc and the moisture content of the material on the pinmill grinding machine. This research was carried out from February to May 2021 at the home industry in Palembang and the Chemical Laboratory of Agricultural Products , Sriwijaya University. ch treatment was repeated This study used the Factorial Randomized Block Design (FRBD) method with treatments and ea three times. The first factor was the material (6%, 8%, 10%). The second factor was the water content of the rotational speed of the disc (1400 rpm and 1500 rpm). Parameters measured were milling tool working capacity, milling ef ficiency, percentage of fineness and fuel consumption . The results showed that the moisture content of the material and the amount of rotational speed of the disc had a significant effect on the working capacity of the pinmill type grinding machine.
