The availability of large swampland causes a lot of swampland to be used for agricultural land development. The swamp area of Kerinduan Bridge in Sungai Penuh City has several types of swamp ecosystem utilization such as agricultural land and natural tourism sites that have the potential to facilitate the entry of invasive alien plants. The purpose of this study is to find out the composition and structure of invasive alien plants in the swamp area. The research was conducted from December 2020 to March 2021 with the observation method in the field. Determination of transects was carried out by purposive sampling. Sampling was carried out on 3 transects. Each transect was made with 85 m, 245 m, and 125 m. In each transect, there are 5 research plots measuring 5x5 for the growth rate of the stake and 2x2 for the growth rate of seedlings. The results of the study obtained 12 species of IAP from 10 families with habitus types of herbs, aquatic plants, shrubs, and shrubs. Persicaria attenuata has the highest important value of 73.25%. IAP diversity index value of the swamp area of Kerinduan Bridge in Sungai Penuh City is a moderate level of diversity (H'=1.79).
